You’ve found the new home of uTorrent.py.
What is µTorrent.py?
µTorrent.py is the only Python module providing an API to uTorrent. With µTorrent.py, you can configure and control µTorrent, even remotely. It is based around the WebUI interface µTorrent exposes. As a bonus, µTorrent.py is Open Source Software. You’re more than welcome to hack away at the code. If you’ve got an idea or patch, leave a comment.
A quick story:
uTorrent.py has been unmaintained and offline for a while. My external hard drive crashed with the last decent copy of the code. Luckily, a friend had a copy. (Hooray for offsite backup!)

Uh, what version is this?
µTorrent.py is at 0.1.1 ALPHA. This means it’s a hack and you shouldn’t use this on a production server.
WARNING: This is a 7zip archive. You MUST rename the file to utorrent_py25_011-3-alpha.7z before extracting the archive.
