Hailing from the UK, Mika is the latest in poppy, cabaret-eqsue, psychadelic music. I’m baffled and amused at the same time. Their debut album, Life In Cartoon Motion, just came out. I’d compare it to another band, but it’s just weird. Perhaps the Beach Boys on lots of acid?
It definitely is an amazing concept - seeing a combination of lots of styles in one so young - he’s a huge star in the Uk and I like his Grace Kelly song - interesting I must admit - an unusal combination of styles put effectively well together I thought.
